Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all appointment requests to the best of our ability. There are times we are booked several weeks in advance, so please plan accordingly. You may request a particular doctor but keep in mind that this may limit your appointment options. For your assurance, our doctors are all highly competent and will provide excellent care for your pet.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. For our feline friends, we have separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. Upon your arrival, you will be asked to provide basic information about your pet and yourself, including any medical history for your pet. For your convenience, you can print and complete the New Patient Form prior to your appointment. It is located in this section under Forms.
We know that your time is valuable and we will make every effort to minimize your wait. There may be times when we are backed up due to an unforseen emergency. We apologize in advance if you experience a prolonged wait. In some cases we can arrange for you to drop off your pet for part of the day and then return for pick up. Our team members can give you more details on that option.
While we understand that you are concerned for your pet while it is in our care, please know that we will do our best to make your pet comfortable. Surgical patients (including spays and neuters) usually require an overnight stay to ensure a safe and rapid recovery. In addition, we routinely provide pain medicine for surgical patients.
While we are able to diagnose and treat most of our sick patients, in certain cases, your pet may be referred to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery. We will always do what is in the best interest of you and your pet.
We are pleased to be able to provide pet boarding services in addition to veterinary care. Our boarding capacity fills up quickly, especially during summer and other holidays. Early reservations are a must during these busy seasons. Our boarding facility has an enclosed exercise yard and dogs are exercised at least twice a day. All boarded dogs receive a complimentary shampoo and bathing prior to returning home. Please note that pets using our boarding services require proof of
certain vaccinations. This protects your pet and our other pet boarders.
